A man by the name of Moses, who led the Israelites out of Egypt was a learned man, and did not ignore the documentation of the Ten Commandments. Ref: Deuteronomy 5 (The Hebrew-Greek Key Study Bible King James Version, KJV), as was the founders of our national documents, who led us out of the grip of tyranny in England. They learned the value of conviction, known as a belief system or core and was rewarded.
I learned at a very young age that the Ten Commandments are as important to the decisions I make over my lifetime. We are challenged daily and all fall short, it is true I too fall short of perfecting these, but we must have a belief system to guard our values. I repeat they will be challenged daily.
The Bible has the influence to change the mind of ratifying our flesh by fulfilling the lust of doing anything we want. As a nation we have the gift of both however,we have taken it for granted. If we cleave to them It will play a significant part in leading our country out of darkness into light, as a candle awakes our eyes to the end of a tunnel.
If you study the Ten Commandments you will be both convicted and awakened.
As I mature, I understand the importance of the Ten Commandments and the rewards, as with the Constitution, both creating healthy boundaries.
I bear a depth in the decisions I make because of how it has influenced my convictions. The framework of the Ten Commandments are as important now than ever before, which includes the guidance and support of the Constitution of the United States. Join me by banding together, developing core values that have brought the Jews out of slavery and the pioneers of England into freedom and out of darkness into the land we call America. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bible/
